超出于文化的理解图式

 

对个体的尊重必须基于对文化的理解。对于行为方式,各文化具有完全不同的判定。强调时间观念,或者忽视它,这都不能作为判定一种文化优劣的证据。一种古文化可能更关心人的感受,将行为规范视为次要,另一种文化却将规范本身视作对人的感受的关心。

问题恰恰在于跨文化过程中,对行为方式的判定方式。在自文化中对别种文化进行判断往往会遇到困难。于是,一种对文化冲突或者“后殖民”文化状况的意识,应该也必须被纳入到商业文化的认知模式之中,并成为文化尊重的行事前提。

传出和传入活动本身即造成了交流事件,而实行交流双方的个体差异也同样决定了交流的效果。一个外向性的文化或个体更加倾向于接纳,但并不持久;一个内向性的文化或个体则可能与此相反。因此,对于不同的文化或个体,文化或个体差异也需要被纳入到一种影响形式的设想中。

The Understanding Schemata that Beyond the Culture

 

Respect for individuals must be based on the understanding of their culture. Different cultures have completely different judgments for behaviors. Emphasis on neither time nor ignoring it can be used as evidence to determine the quality of cultures. An ancient culture may care more about the feelings of people and regard code of conduct as less important. But another culture may regard the code of conduct itself as caring about people’s feelings.

The problem precisely lies in the judgment way of behaviors in the process of cross-culture assessment. Judging another culture in one’s own culture tends to be difficult. So the consciousness of cultural conflict or "postcolonial" culture status should and must be incorporated into the cognitive pattern of commercial culture. And it should become the behavior premise of cultural respect.

Outflow and inflow activities themselves have created communicating events, and the individual difference of communicating bilateral parties determines the effect of communication. An extroverted culture or individual tends to accept, but the process does not last long, while an introverted culture or individual may be just the opposite. Therefore, for different cultures or individuals, cultural or individual differences should also be incorporated into the imagination of impacting mode.
