想象性关系的载体与其延伸

 

古典艺术作品的珍贵,在于被瓦尔特本雅明称为“灵韵”的存在,它代表了作品实时即地产生瞬间,同所处时间、所处空间的对话关系。即便作品之“形”可以被效仿与复制,然而这份对话关系只存在于原真的作品中——这也正是古典艺术核心的价值所在。

现代艺术作品的珍贵,在于超越特定时空限制,可以为广大观众同时鉴赏的开放性。比之古典时期创作者和作品的联系,现代艺术作品更要求于同受众的对话关系。我们无法言尽创作瞬间的灵感爆发,却可以在欣赏的过程中不断发现意义,发展阐释,将封闭的诉说系统做各自精彩的拓宽。

优劣并不存在于两者的评判之间,相通的是在自我与外物之间组织起对话的关系结构——无论这座桥梁是物质本身,或以物为载体的关系延伸。

The Carrier and Extension of Imaginary Relationship

 

The preciousness of classical works of art lies in the existence of "Aura", as referred to by Walter Benjamin. It represents the dialogue relationship between the work and its time and space when it is instantly being produced. Even if the “Shape” of works of art can be imitated and duplicated, the dialogue relationship exists only in the original real works; that is the core value of classical art.

The preciousness of modern works of art lies in its openness to all the general audience’s appreciation, which is well beyond the confines of a particular time and space. Compared with the relationship between the author and classical art, modern art appeals more to the dialogue relationship with its audience. We cannot fully illustrate the exploding of creative musing at the moment of art production, but the meaning and explanation of art can be continuously developed through our appreciation, which will thus widen an originally closed illustration system. 

There is no clear superior or inferior between the two parts while they are interlinked with a mutual structure of dialogue, relationships between objects and ego (regardless whether the bridge is the material itself) or as a relationship extension between the objects.
